Tenby Point. Location. While not located on Phillip Island but on the way at least, Tenby Point is a popular spot for photographers with its beautiful mangrove trees and old jetty ruins in the area. The location works perfectly for long exposure photography to capture the still water and cloud passing overhead.

Tenby Point. by leic4life » Wed Apr 01, 2015 12:26 am. Hi guys, Been hitting up Tenby point (fish from rocks near pier to the right of the car park) recently and have caught a few little gummies ect. We are looking for somewhere near there to fish but to have more chance of catching bigger fish. If you have any suggestions that would be great.

Tenby Point can be fished at low tide, then go to the jetty at high tide. There is a rock wall leading to a sandbar channel drop-off at Tenby that fishes well for gummy sharks on a rising tide. Tenby Point - The Jetty and the Mangroves. We had arrived just in time. The high tide was starting to recede giving us easy access to the beach yet there was still enough water covering the base of the jetty posts. If you arrive at this destination at the wrong time you'll find sticks in mud. Below - Two images of the Tenby Point jetty.
